What’s so special about Christmas that people from different parts of the world celebrate it? The answer to this question is what the Hope Preschool Department aimed to convey to its pupils last December.
A Christmas program with the title “Christmas Around the World” was held last December 15, 2017 at the theater hall. Each preschool class presented a special number, making use of music and inspiration from Hawaii, China, Spain, USA and the Philippines. The presentations were linked together thru a dialogue of two girls that also integrated and highlighted the story of Jesus’ birth. And to conclude the program, all the preschoolers performed the song “A Gift to You” as a song offering to our Lord Jesus Christ, the reason for the Christmas season.
Class fellowship followed after the program. Each class together with some parents had their snacks and exchanges of gifts in their respective classroom. While the children were excited to receive gifts, they were equally excited to share gifts to their friends and with a happy smile, wishing each one a “Merry Christmas!” While the children were excited to receive gifts, they were equally excited to share gifts to their friends and with a happy smile, wishing each one a “Merry Christmas”.
